Musashino-shi Tokyo, Japan
From the South exit of Kichijoji Station (sometimes called "Park Exit"), turn right and walk past Macdonalds down a street with many restaurants on it for 2 minutes. You'll reach an intersection with the main road ("Inokashira dori") and on the other side you'll see a tall skinny building with a ramen shop on the ground floor, next to a large eyewear store. Pico Pico Cafe / Lexaloffle is on the 8th floor.
Picotachi is a monthly show-and-tell event held at Pico Pico Cafe in Kichijoji, inviting creators to give short casual presentations on what they are working on. Any topic is welcome, including tiny and experimental projects, as it is an opportunity to give other creators a view into something outside their normal sphere of work and creative process. Many presentation are about game design and illustraition, but others have also covered subjects like map making, photography, music composition, sculpture, robotics, and AI.
To find out when the next Picotachi is, please check out twitter account or #picotachi. If you would like to show something, please email us at picopicocafe@gmail.com. The format is very relaxed: between 1minutes~10minutes with a projector, and any language is ok. Please bring a laptop of you'd like to run any software, but we can alternatively provide a web browser if you have material online.
It's Friday Studio!
